David Thomas

Senior Associate

David holds a Bachelor of Laws from La Trobe University and a Bachelor of Arts (Criminal Justice Administration) from RMIT. David was admitted to the Supreme Court of Victoria in 2017.

Prior to joining Arnold Thomas and Becker, David worked as an Insurance Lawyer acting for insurers in the defence of personal injury claims including occupier’s liability claims, public liability claims, worker’s common law claims and VWA/TAC recovery claims. During this time, David developed a sound understanding into how insurers operate and manage personal injury claims.

David also has experience representing Plaintiffs in all areas of personal injury law. It is this experience that has motivated David to join Arnold Thomas & Becker as one of our personal injury lawyers and vehemently fight for the rights of his clients. Whilst he works in all areas of injury compensation, he specialises in assisting those who have been injured in public and sexual abuse survivors achieve justice.

Outside of work, David enjoys travelling, discovering new restaurants, watching American sports and is a passionate Essendon Bombers supporter.
